If you like power pop – and who doesn’t? – you probably already know all about the Canadian super group known as The New Pornographers. If you don’t this show will be a great introduction to this fun band. Please join me (Calep) at The Truman KC for what will be a night of good music. Doors open at 7:00 pm, the show starts at 8:00 pm, and there does not appear to be an opener. I had the good fortune of seeing The New Pornographers at The Roots, Blues, and BBQ Festival this Fall. This band does not disappoint live!
The Truman KC has a small VIP lounge (separate ticket required) and is otherwise a General Admission auditorium with limited seating. The acoustics are good and the bars are well stocked with good libations!
