To record the changes made to this website
With help from a friend the Club logo has been updated to better reflect who we are. Enjoy!
navigation change and content updates
Added Second Saturdays and Coffee Talk as sub-menu itens under Calendar.
Updated Coffee Talk to reflect our new location for the remainder of 2020.
airtoberfest content moved to new domain
To help Airtoberfest get established I’ve moved all the content from this website to airtoberfest.com. This will allow me to scale the Airtoberfest event web pages without putting load on this site. When you click the AIRTOBERFEST menu item the new Airtoberfest website will open in a new browser tab.
classified ad system replaced
I was never really happy with the classified ad system so I did a little more research and found one with more features. Please give it a try and let me know what feedback you have.
home page updates
Yes, the home page looks different. I wasn’t really ever happy with the login widget being next to the pictures so I’m giving this a try.I also added a “Latest News” category to the site so we can post… the latest news! There will be more experimentation so stay tuned! If you have any feedback on design changes or problems with the layout please comment. Thanks!
To make more menu space available I’ve deleted the Home menu item. Click on “Kansas Airheads” in the upper left-hand corner of the header to return to the home page.
Brian Scott’s Airheads Resources list has been added to the site. I’ve placed this under the Members menu and is only available to registered members of the site.
I’ve removed the Login option from the menu and replaced it with a login widget on the home page. This should make it more clear when you’re logged in or not since the state of the Login menu option was not updating correctly. Enjoy!
Upgraded to WordPress 5.3 and installed updates to the following plugins:
Because I’m a good steward of the website I ran a full backup prior to installing the upgrades. Oh, and also I hate troubleshooting issues created by someone else’s code.
